I got together with a great group of guys that make up the band Chamberlin for a photoshoot today. These guys have a rockin sound. I think their new photos 'sing' the feel of their talent as Vermont musicians (notice above the deer running in the background). Earlier this month I was fortunate enough to be invited out for a couple of paraglide flights, piloted by Calef Letourney. I got a call from Calef that morning, who said that the wind and thermal conditions were equivalent to that of a deep powder day. As a skier, that was enough to convince me that everything on my "to-do list" was simply a detail that should be put on hold.
The experience was amazing. We literally jumped off the side of a mountain (Burke). This sport demands a beautiful respect for mother nature, and a certain technical elegance that can't be found in any other activity.
Virgin, Utah hosted the Red Bull Rampage this year. This environment is most beautiful and extremely hostile. Billy goating canyons and dodging rattle snakes in 99 degree heat with my camera pack, at the most prestigious free ride mountain bike event in the world is THE BEST!

I'm resposnible for skiing with a group of kids every weekend at Mad River Glen - who do this type of shit all day. I love these kids and, I'm totally happy to take on these kinds of "stressfull" resposibilities at the work place. Safety first.
